Awon unilag students wats the problem now. I used to think Unilag was all about swagger and who can oppress who. Notwithstanding, I thought and still think sef that it is one of the best Universities in Nigeria (not quite havard standard yet but LAG is holding its own). However, over the last few weeks it has been shooting we have been hearing about. First it was the valentine day shootout (don't they know how to be romantic and take their girl friends/boy friends out ahn ahn). Now is this one that has left another student by the name Ayodeji Sonoiki dead.
He was an extra year student of the department of History and Strategic studies. Sadly, he recently turned 22 and from the way the story goes (na how I hear am o) he was chilling with some friends and some armed men (whether or not they are cultists or armed robbers me no know yet) came in. He was a little drunk so he wasn't obeying their orders so they shot him. First of all I do not know where a human being gets into their head that they have the right to kill another person. Secondly, I suspect this maybe cultism related (now I am not saying he is a cultist o but they might have come for a cultist in the other group but ended up killing Ayo because he didn't cooperate.....u know dat kain thing) as the other one was and I am worried that they will continue to retaliate back and forth and end up having to send these students back home for fear of their lives. If your parents sent you to school to read your book and you do not want to read ehn pls do not disturb others who want to make something of their lives. Anyway, I hope LAG can nip all these killings in the bud so that the students can go back to proving gbogbo bigs girls and boys

**According to how I hear the tory, the authorities no know say dis kain thing happen. Na after rumor come dey circulate say dem bury person na im dem find out say student die and the incident happen for campus o. Kini gbogbo rubbish!!! That means the students are not safe since the authorities are taking a reactive rather than proactive role....God protect us all and May Ayo's soul rest in peace
